The newly appointed Victorian Minister for Small Business the Hon. Joe Helper MP presented the Award to EarthQuest and other finalists at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, Southbank Melbourne.

Awards Organiser John Gannan said the jdudges were looking for businesses that showed innovation in each of the five award categories. He said the awards were a great opportunity for small businesses to gain recognition for their products. "The awards are about recognition, which builds self confidence, self esttem and professionalism. An increase in recognition leads to an increase in business"

Donna Donovan, the Business Support Officer for Economic Development at the Shire of Yarra Ranges, was there to support the local Yarra Ranges winners.

Firstly on 22 nd November, 2005 EarthQuest was awarded

The ‘Highly Commended Emerging Business Category for Victoria for 2005 by the ‘Micro and Home Business Network' sponsored by Bartercard for its success in achieving and establishing a good name in the market place in the short time span of 2 years.
